If you ever see me at an airport you most likely will see me with my sketchbook, sitting around watching tv with my sketchbook, visiting relatives with my sketchbook. like part of my body.
One of the biggest things that helped my art skills was to start bringing my sketchbook with me and draw. The problem is that I can’t seem to just sit and do nothing. I have this consistent chatter in my head that drives me to draw. Sometimes it is a tattoo that is coming or a logo design I’m working on. Whatever it is, sketching what is in my head, has helped keep me grounded.
So I decided I would share what I draw. Dig up some of the old sketchbooks and post photos from them. As I look at the pages there are so many stories to each drawing. A window into my head? hope not. there are some strange things in my books.
