This painting was commissioned by a couple who sent me several photos of their beloved donkey to use as reference for the artwork. They wanted something personal that truly captured the personality and spirit of their animal, not just a simple portrait. Using their photos as inspiration, I worked to bring out the character, expression, and unique details that made their donkey special to them. This painting was the final result.
